How long is too long to have a headache
At three weeks with a persistant headache I realized it was getting harder and harder to hide the fact that my mood was turning dark and pissy. I origionally kept the headache downplayed with Sara, I wanted to see what it would do, and since I didn't wake up dead after day three I had pretty much ruled out anurism. That was a joke of course, I have no idea how many days it takes to die from an anurism.
So after three weeks of constant pain I told Sara what was going on between my ears and it was quickly decited that I was going to the doctor yesterday. I got three things at the doctor's office.
1. Good news about my blood pressure. It was 117 / 76 I don't think it has ever been that low and I am looking back to failing my initial elementary school physical required to join the elementary school football team due to high blood pressure.
2. Steriods
3. Antibiotic
Upon examination the doctor discovered a massive sinus infection. I am using her word "Massive". She could see it by peering into every oriface in my head massive.
So in about ten days my headache should be gone. I will have gained weight, my penis will have shrunk and my mood will be "altered". I'm guessing I am going to be a serious pain in the ass having gained weight and lost inches. Might as well have fun with it and increase my workout load.
It could have been a tumor.

"It's not a tumor!" is excellent! My wife and I have joked about that line every time one of us has had a headache ever since we started dating. It even came to mind before you even mentioned it at the end of your post. How funny is that?

I love you. But sometimes, you do incredibly stupid things... "I am not going to worry her, I am just going to sit over here and be in PAIN for THREE WEEKS and not tell her what's really up... I am on high blood pressure medicine - I'll just sit over here and WORRY that I am gonna have a STROKE at any minute -instead of telling her and getting her to get me to the Dr." Silly man... I am so unbelievably relieved that it is just a sinus infection...(easy for me to say, i am not the one in pain)... Love you.

I'm with Sara...that was a really stupid thing to do. Glad it's just a massive sinus infection and hope you're feeling better soon.

I coudln't see it when I looked up your nose in the office. Maybe the light was off.
Headache gets 2 days before serious attention in my book. Speaking of which, I need to schedule a Dr. Appt... um... Look at that ... um.. non Dr. thing over there! Woot

But seriously, I hope you're over it soon. My job exposes me to lots of stuff I'm allergic to and even with medication I still get lots of headaches that really make Billy a POd poet.
