Babylon 5 Revival Casting Rumors

My favorite non-prematurely-cancelled SF show, Babylon 5, was being developed as a feature film, The Memory of Shadows. Series creator J. Michael Straczynski has been pretty tight-lipped on the subject for the last few months, and a potential reason why might be the reasonably well sourced rumors that the studio is trying to recast the major characters. JMS says he can't comment, though he wishes he could.

Well, Chip, I avoided trying B5 for years. Finally watched all the episodes on DVD last summer. From about halfway through Season One to the end of Season Four, and the second half of Season Five, it was some of the best TV I've seen. Better than the vast majority of TV SF. So you win.

Oh, and thanks for telling us you had a blog. I had to find out from J. & T. in Washington! You aren't avoiding us because of our youngest, are you (like D. and C. in California are; D. apparently says talking to us is too depressing)? I doubt it, but if so, shame on you.

Teeeeeej!

I actually mentioned the blog in that reply-all I sent to T. and C.'s good news months ago (I hope all is well!). This, like so much in my life right now, is sporadic and erratic at best.

Damn, but I need to catch up on some phone calls with important people in my life ...
