Armstrong Williams Watch

I'm not seeing a lot of support for Armstrong Williams from his ideological soulmates; the conservative commentator and opinion journalist accepted $240,000 in tax money to promote The No Child Left Behind Act of 2001. National Review's Jonah Goldberg and the John Locke Foundation's John Hood mince few words.

His Name is...Faraway Will

My grandparents-in-law (aided and abetted by my tech-savvy sister-in-law) provided me with yet another addictive timewaster, the massively multiplayer PC game City of Heroes. Unlike another game in the genre that I've been playing for a while, City of Heroes is simple and straightforward. You're a good guy. There are bad guys out there. It's righteous violence time.

Which is why I don't play it when Will's in the room. But the character creation system, which allows you to design your own superhero costume, is as much fun as the game itself. So I invited Will to (with assistance) design his own superhero. So, presenting "Faraway Will" (TM and copyright Cryptic Studios thanks to the end user licensing agreement):

I am told that my friends have speculated that Will has no chance of escaping his father's upbringing. I suddenly understand why.
