Don't get sick during vegetable season! I was sick for about a week and all sorts of crazy stuff happened to my garden.
I was rousted from my sickbed by a thunderstorm. I glanced out the window and discovered, to my horror, that the bamboo poles that my butterbeans climb had snapped. The next day I shuffled outside in my PJs and pried the butterbeans off of the edamame. I don't know what to do with the droopy bean vines now, so they're just kinda sprawled out on the ground.
As I lugged myself back to the house, I noticed that something had evidently been munching on my cherry tomatoes. Not munching like a bug munches - munching like a furry critter munches. There were little ragged holes in some of the tomatoes.
Today I went out to check on things during lunch. I found a mutant squash and a mutant zucchini:
That zucchini is the size of my forearm. I'm glad I finally noticed it today, because if it had grown more, I think it would've kicked my butt when I went to pick it! And I think that's the biggest yellow squash I've ever seen. Oops. Shoulda sent the hubby out to check the squash plants while I was sickly.
The edamame survived their assault by the butterbeans and are finally starting to form pods. I can't wait! Mmm, edamame! ^_^
The plants themselves are freaking huge. Some of them are almost as tall as I am. They've started to flop over (undoubtedly because the butterbeans flopped on them first), and now they're totally shading out their pepper neighbors. I'm not sure what to do about that ...

Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!
I always was interested in this subject and stock still am, thanks for putting up.

Safdsd,
The Census Bureau collects race and Hispanic origin information in
order to provide data required by various federal programs, laws
and regulations, as codified by the Office of Management and
Budget's (OMB) guidance on collecting and tabulating information
on race and Hispanic origin.
We collect data as guided by the OMB statistical policy directive. OMB defines these guidelines for consistency across federal programs.
Based on FTR 30.2(a)(1), information reported in the AES is for "all exports of physical goods." In your example, the software, "preloaded customized software", is not a physical good. However, the server is a physical good, which would need to be reported. As stated, we require the value of the media for exports of customized software and in this case, we would consider the server as the media of the "customized software". The selling price of the server is $10,000 and that's what it required to be reported in the AES.
Hey guys. Do any of you know what font is used in the image at the top of this article?
Thanks
"Lesson 3: Systems development that requires first-use perfection must be abandoned." This sounds like it might be an important point, but the paragraph is opaque. Please reduce jargon and write for a more general audience.
Many thanks again for this fantastic blog article. Many thanks for a second time. Want more.
MYL: This is off topic, but I think I hear Obama use 'extraordinary' an d 'extraordinarily' a lot (an 'extraordinary' amount). Is there a way to check this in your data?
FYI on your comments by an IRATE American who happens to be of Spanish, French & Mexican Indian origins'. The note above question 5 states, "For this census, Hispanic origins are not races."
This does not place "Hispanic" origin as a priority; if anything it stresses a difference' in a negative fashion. In addition, Question 6 regarding "RACE" requires an answer but does not offer a clear choice for Hispanics/Mexicans/Spaniards, etc. I called the Census Hotline to hear a recording on Race' which states among other things, "The concept of race reflects self-identification. It does not indicate any clear cut scientific definition that's biological or genetic in reference; the data for race represents self-classification by people according to the race or races with which they most closely identify....."
I looked up the definition of "White" in reference to race and more than one defintion specifies: people exclusive of European ancestry.' Spanish and French meet the criteria, Mexican Indian does not. I cannot fully relate to any of the races' listed, yet, I'm obligated to do so to avoid a possible fine or a expensive visit from a Census representative.
The constant need to stipulate race/ethnicity in the United States, the melting pot' on forms all over Americaexasperates and sickens me. Discrimination cannot be undone by continuing the need to specify and categorize people of these UNITED States!
so sad and it is really heart touch, but one thing i want to say you have best idea about the development of Orleans ...

Top notch blog post.Much thanks again. Really cool.
Zero Wing is also a really good game with great music. I still have the cartridge somewhere.
Sorry, Dena and I were in the library together working on the composite paper, and she was logged in under her name when I submitted this. I didn't realize my mistake until after it was already done. Please note that this is my paper, all work was done by me, and Dena had nothing to do with it. Again, my apologies.
I searched his name for the umpteenth time and read that his death was cardiac related.
Thanks for all your efforts that you have put in this. very interesting information. "Illegitimacy is something we should talk about in terms of not having it." by Dan Quayle.
Appreciate it for all your efforts that you have put in this. very interesting information. "JUDGE, n A law student who marks his own papers." by H.L. Mencken.
Wow I never knew we exported soybeans TO China. I always thought it was the other way around!
I didn't receive a form. I have checked with local libraries, senior centers and no one has a form. What should I do
Information on IDB site is very useful for researchers , students etc- I think there is need to manage a international DB in more details such as we found it here.

A really great collection! Will take me some time to download them all!
I am an authorize agent and we file hundreds of AES for our customers. Do you mean to tell me that we will have to see a pop up every time we file?????
That would be extremely annoying...and a waste of time every time we would have to close a pop up. And makes absolutely no sense to have that as anyone that files for a USPPI knows that they are filing on behalf of the USPPI or the FPPI
So please do not waste our time with something as annoying as as a pop up. We are already register as an Agent so there is no need to remind us hundreds of time.
Thanks
My husband, a war veteran, and I are EXTREMELY offended that the US Census chose to list "Hispanic" origin in a priority position on the questionaire, before all other races. First, if you're Hispanic, second...are you any other race.
We're mad as H*** about everything in this country being centered around Hispanics!!!!!!!!!!!! How about listing ALL races, in alphabetical order, or at the very least, prioritizing the American Indian in first place???
If this was a Mexico Census or Cuba Census, we would expect this question to be listed first. However, this is a US CENSUS why are Mexicans listed first???? We're sick of this racist and biased prioritizing covered under the blanket of "US Census".
Perhaps a better choice of the 3rd quarterad would have had a better ban. g for the buck. Where was the message?
They are riggging the numbers. I have requested a form several times through several sources and they will not send me one.
And of course, Frumious Bandersnatch sounds like a Dickens character.
Type US 2010 CENSUS DATA into your browser & GO
Would I like to have done a parachute jump? Yes: I would feel so proud.
Hmmm West Virginia needs to get on the ball, glad I hail from WA
Colorado seems to be in the over 40% (in dark blue), but the comments says it's between 40% and the national average
Michelle, I'm not sure what area you are in, but during the NRFU operation, the Atlanta RCC put out a Memo dated 28 May 2010 stating the it was a violation of Census policy to use the internet to obtain ANY information. It was again brouight up during the training for the current VDC operation that if you used the internet you would be TERMINATED. Don't get yourself in trouble, check on this.
Fellow Enumerator in the Field...
You have mentioned very interesting points ! ps decent website . "I didn't attend the funeral, but I sent a nice letter saying that I approved of it." by Mark Twain.
I saw a lot of website but I believe this one has got something extra in it. "Anyone who refuses to speak out off campus does not deserve to be listened to on campus." by Theodore Hesburgh.
