ThePiedmontChannel.comA Greensboro movie theater was damaged by fire early Tuesday after a popcorn machine was left on after the business closed, according to investigators. The fire happened at Carousel Cinema Theaters on Battleground Avenue. About $6,000 in damage was done to the building.
Firefighters had the fire under control in about 15 minutes. There were no injuries reported.
