Opus... Is Back!
Breathed's returning to newspaper pages with another Opus the Penguin strip!
Ten out of ten points for good news, but minus one point for my fear that this will be more like the last year of Bloom County or Outland, and minus ten kajillion style points for the WaPo quoting has-been Harry Knowles (of aintitcoolnews).

There are two words I reserve for such an occasion, and they can only be typed in all caps
FUCK YEAH!
I was reading Bloom County when most kids my age were reading Superfudge and Peanuts. They, Doonesbury, and Mad Magazine were responsible for my early interest and burn-out in government and international politics. I remember being misty-eyed reading the last strip back in `95. I cannot express how happy I am to see them back.
I can express how tired I am of Harry Knowles getting quoted for everything. The guy is the freakin' Fred Durst of the movie review clique.
Just doesn't get a clue that we could stand to see and hear less from him.
First Simon and Garfunkel, now Bloom County. All I need now is a live action Robotech series or feature length trilogy, and my journey to childhood will be nearly complete.

No doubt!
Misty eyed is a good way of putting it. I believe I still have it clipped out somewhere.
I fear outland-ish comic.
